I wanted to create a quick, reusable project to give as a thank you when needed. I realized after I took and uploaded the photo that I forgot to add the candy so you'll have to use your imagination! lol The receiver can remove the brads and open the package up to get at the treats inside.
Stampin' Up! Stamps: Sweetheart
Stampin' Up! Ink: Elegant Eggplant
Stampin' Up! Paper: Whisper White, Elegant Eggplant
Stampin Up! Tools: Heart Punch, Paper Piercer
Stampin Up! Misc: Whisper White Ribbon, Basic Black Brads, White Unigel Pen, Glue Dots, Heart Treat Cups, Scallop punch
Instructions:
- Cut Whisper white card stock to 2.5x3.25"
- Cut Elegant Eggplant to 7.5"x2.75"
- Score the Elegant Eggplant at 0.5" and 4"
- Turn the paper so that it is tall.
- Fold the top down and the bottom up.
- Use the heart punch to punch as far up as you can punch on the top/front.
- Use the scallop punch the punch the bottom edge.
- Attach the whisper white piece to the front of the cardstock.
- Open up the entire project and flip over so you only see the elegant eggplant.
- Use the heart punch to punch through the whisper white cardstock, using the current cutout as a guideline.
- Flip back to the front side and stamp the heart outline and words.
- Add dots with the white unigel pen.
- Cut a length of ribbon.
- Pull on a frayed edge of the ribbon. Keep pulling until the entire ribbon is frayed.
- Tie in a knot and attach to project with a glue dot.
- Place Treat cup inside of project.
- Open project up again and place top up on paper piercing mat.
- Pierce holes on sides of treat cups. Make sure to go through the treat cup.
- Fill treat cup with treats.
- Add brads
- Close project up and pierce hole for bottom brad.
- Add the brad.
- Give project away as gift!
